Study Abroad (OAP) Program Fee includes administration and instruction, 6 credits of SUNY tuition, housing, cultural visits that include a 1 day visit of the region, weekend trips to Normandie (4 days & 3 nights) and Paris (3 days & 3 nights),and an Adventure Weekend in the Acro'Parc located between the Drome Provencales and the Vercors Regional Nature Park (3 days & 2 nights) [this Weekend not scheduled for 2023], bus card (about 20 trips between the residence hall and Troyes city center that is good for 30 days), Welcome Dinner and Farewell Party, and airport transfer from Paris to Troyes on May 15 at 3pm (CET - Central European Time) and the program will end in Paris on June 21 at 7am, at which point students may either arrange personal travel or public transportation to the airport using the 5-day Paris pass they will get once in Paris. Special travel arrangements will be made for students unable to arrive in Paris on May 15 due to final exams scheduled on May 14-17, 2020.
Tuition & Fees for UB students will be reflected on their student bill in HUB. Students from other SUNY campuses must pay tuition and campus fees to their home campus according to home campus rates. Other SUNY students will receive an electronic bill from UB that will be exclusive of tuition.
Upon acceptance into this study abroad program, students will be required to pay a program deposit of $325 to confirm their participation. The program deposit is non-refundable and will be subtracted from the Program Fee.
Estimated UB Comprehensive and Academic Excellence Fees include the following: Academic Excellence Fee, College Fee, Technology Fee, and Transcript Fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policies are outlined in the Waiver and Release Form- to be completed upon acceptance into a study abroad program.
