Tuition & Fees for UB students will be reflected on their student bill in HUB. Tuition and UB Comprehensive and Academic Excellence fee estimates above are based on full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 credits) of undergraduate or graduate credit. Tuition charges for graduate students in professional programs will be calculated using the per-credit tuition rate.

Estimated UB Comprehensive and Academic Excellence Fees include the following: Academic Excellence Fee, Career Services Fee, College Fee, Technology Fee, and Transcript Fee. Matriculated international students will also pay the International Student Fee.

Students from other SUNY campuses must pay tuition and comprehensive campus fees to their home campus according to home campus rates. Other SUNY students will receive an electronic bill from UB that will be exclusive of tuition. Non-SUNY students must register and pay tuition and program fees at the University at Buffalo.

*Upon acceptance into this education abroad program, students will be required to pay two charges via UB Marketplace to confirm their participation in the program:  The $600 non-refundable “Education Abroad Semester Program Administrative Fee” and the $100 “Risk Management Fee.” The $600 administrative fee is non-refundable once paid, and the $100 Risk Management Fee is non-refundable once the program begins.

The Risk Management Fee includes pre-departure support, International SOS subscription, insurance enrollment, and 24/7 UB emergency support.

The administrative and risk management fees are charged per semester. Students participating in an Academic Year or Calendar Year program will be required to pay the $600 Administrative Fee and $100 Risk Management fee during their second semester abroad.

Cancellation and Refund Policies are outlined in the “SUNY Agreement and Acceptance of Risk for Study Abroad.” Students are required to read and agree to the aforementioned form during the application process.
