Program Description:

Italy: Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici - Three Cities

Tuscania - St. Peter's          
This semester-long study abroad experience connects students to three diverse Italian cities, each with a distinct identity and culture; Tuscania, Rome and either Florence (in Fall) or Venice (in Spring). Students spend one month in Tuscania followed by one month in Rome, and then they complete the experience in either Florence or Venice. They follow a structured program of five courses, including one in Italian language and culture. Please consult the specific Three Cities Academic Calendar, as dates differ from the standard LdM Academic Calendar.

LdM 3 CITIES PROGRAM is pleased to facilitate students housing arrangements for a spot in a double room in a shared student apartment. This accommodation is included in the program fee.

LDM 3 CITIES PROGRAM Housing Service includes:
– Rent in Tuscania, Rome and Florence (during the Fall semester)/ Venice (during the Spring semester) , with fixed check-in and check-out dates– Repairs not caused by students’ negligence or inattentiveness
– Average Utilities (water, gas, electricity). Any costs above the average consumption will be charged to the students sharing the same apartment and deducted from the housing deposit.
– City Public Transportation pass (only for Rome) or Vaporetto pass (for Venice)
– Internet

LDM 3 CITIES PROGRAM Housing Service does not include:
– Meals
– Damages caused by students’ negligence or inattentiveness
– Extra cleaning (if the apartment is not clean on the specified check-out date, students will be responsible for an additional cleaning charge)

This program is open to University at Buffalo sophomores, juniors, and seniors with at least a 2.8 overall GPA.
