Study Abroad (OAP) Program Fee includes the cost of instruction (16 credits max) and housing at LdM. Housing is in a shared apartment coordinated through Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici. The program fee also includes cultural activities, Italian SIM card activation fee, welcome and farewell receptions, internet access (on-campus and in LdM housing), LdM advisor, on site orientation, pre-departure guide, 24 hours assistance on LdM emergency line (health/safety issues), and LdM grade report. NOTE: Should you choose to participate in a LdM course with a lab fee (associated with certain courses such as studio art and cooking/wine tasting), you will be required to pay for those fees to LdM directly on site at the start of the term.
Tuition & Fees for UB students will be reflected on their student bill in HUB. Estimated UB Comprehensive and Academic Excellence Fees include the following: Academic Excellence Fee, Career Services Fee, College Fee, Technology Fee, and Transcript Fee. Matriculated international students will also pay the International Student Fee: http://www.buffalo.edu/studentaccounts/tuition-and-fees.html
**LdM Housing Deposit - If there is no damage to the apartment and its contents upon inspection at program end, the $300 security deposit will be refunded approximately 45 days after the student departure date.
Upon acceptance into this study abroad program, students will be required to pay a program deposit of $600 to confirm their participation. The program deposit is non-refundable and will be subtracted from the Study Abroad (OAP) Program Fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policies are outlined in the Waiver and Release Form - to be completed upon acceptance into a study abroad program.
