University of Chichester
The University of Chichester, has instructed students since 1828. With less than 6,000 students the University of Chichester is one of the smallest universities in the UK and prides themselves in offering small class sizes and specialized attention to each student. More than 90% of their students are from the UK so, as an international student, you’ll be able to get to know “home” students and live, work and study in an English speaking environment.
The agreement between the University at Buffalo and the University of Chichester allows UB students majoring in Dance to study for one semester or the academic year. To search courses, called modules, please search the Module Guide. Some courses that UB Dance majors may take include (but are not limited to):
INTRODUCTION TO IMPROVISATION AND COMPOSITION
COMPOSITIONAL APPROACHES AND DEVICES
IMPROVISATION AND PERFORMANCE
PERFORMANCE AND TECHNOLOGY
CHOREOGRAPHY 3: STRUCTURES AND CONCEPTS
CHOREOGRAPHY 4: PRACTICE PERFORMANCE & RESEARCH
THE DANCER'S BODY
POPULAR DANCE: STREET STAGE AND SCREEN

The University of Chichester will work with incoming exchange students to assist with housing arrangements. The University has a range of comfortable, secure and modern accommodations to suit your needs. Most rooms are single occupancy, with either self or shared bathrooms, and offer self-catering meal options where students share a kitchen with three to seven other students. The catered option (meal plan) includes breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday with brunch at weekends. The majority of their student housing options are rooms on campus, with a small number a short walk away. They also have homestay accommodation option available.
For more details and housing options, visit the accommodations website.
