Program Description:

University of Chichester

Chichester     Chichester Dance     Chichester 2
The University of Chichester is located in the south east of England. Near to the coast and countryside, it is a popular and pretty place to live. Their two campuses, Bishop Otter Campus in Chichester, and Bognor Regis Campus, are a 20 minute journey apart. The city of Chichester has a long history going back to Roman times and there are still many historic sites of interest such as the cathedral and the ancient city walls. There is a vibrant arts and cultural scene with the famous Festival Theatre, cinemas, galleries, museums and the annual cultural festival held every July. There is also a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to suit every taste and budget. Chichester lies between two areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the South Downs and Chichester Harbor - as well as other nature reserves, stunning beaches and dramatic coastline to the south.  Bognor Regis started life as a fishing village which has grown to become one of the UK’s most famous seaside resorts and home to the Butlins Bognor Regis Resort the largest holiday centre in the South of England.

The University of Chichester, has instructed students since 1828.  With less than 6,000 students the University of Chichester is one of the smallest universities in the UK and prides themselves in offering small class sizes and specialized attention to each student. More than 90% of their students are from the UK so, as an international student, you’ll be able to get to know “home” students and live, work and study in an English speaking environment.
